Biography

Emily’s goal is to contribute to reforming the Australian Healthcare system so that it can face emerging health challenges such as chronic diseases, an ageing population and tight fiscal climates. In particular, she is interested in how strengthening primary care and harnessing technology in the health industry can help achieve better health outcomes for all Australians. Previously, Emily completed a Bachelor of Medical Science with First Class Honours. She's worked in community health in Togo, interned at the World Health Organisation, worked for the Australian Department of Health and sat on the Future Health Leaders Council of Australia. Emily also enjoys travelling, photography, videography, reading, music and running.
