Biography

What inspired me to choose a career in the built environment was a single thought; that within my lifetime, I will witness firsthand the implications of not developing sustainable cities. I believe there must be a synthesis of positive community involvement through architecture with innovative sustainable design through engineering. Through my engagement with various organisations like Engineers Without Borders and others, I have learnt that every person has a role to play in shaping the infrastructure around them. Hence ultimately I envisage the built environment as a field that anyone can engage with and meaningfully contribute to.
