Biography

I’ve had a long-standing interest in and passion for Mandarin and its linguistics. For the past three decades, the Western Australian economy has been intertwined with China’s growth. For me living in Perth, in the same time zone as Shanghai and Beijing, the rationale of combining my love of Mandarin and my study of Commerce and Business Law seemed only natural. I am excited to add a global context by studying in Shanghai; improving my cross-cultural communication, cultural intelligence and generally enjoying all that China has to offer.

I am passionate about many things including my volunteer work with communities such as UniCampForKids, social sports and a general appreciation for music, friends and family.  I’m hoping to forge a successful career in Australian Law/Business sectors whilst utilising my Chinese language skills and affinity for the region and its people.
